WHAT HAPPENED

On 6th May 2026, the Oudtshoorn region was struck by the worst flooding since 1996. Cango Wildlife, our 40-year institution, home to over 300 animals and 160 staff, took a direct hit.

Every single animal is safe and accounted for. Our team worked through the night to move them to temporary enclosures and alternative spaces. Not one life was lost.

But our facility is closed. It is badly damaged. And without help, we cannot reopen.

We have rearranged our stock display at Longbeach Craft Market - our popular Africa wall maps are back in stock, as well as all our popular cellphone stands.

Our stunning extra large 1.5m tall Africa made for a private residence.

From our 52cm tall Africa to a 1.5m tall one. The size difference is crazy! We thought our first Africa size was big.. You can see the smaller Africa on top of the bigger one. This is our 2nd 1.5m tall Africa project which was made for a private residence in Paarl.
