Thermo Fisher Scientific, the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), and the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSTI) have officially launched the Centre for Advanced Training and Innovative Research (CATIR) in Pretoria.

This state-of-the-art facility will train the next generation of local scientists in cutting-edge molecular techniques and lab management, strengthening our country’s pandemic preparedness and healthcare innovation.
