From late nights in Ibiza to unforgettable first dances in Cape Town — DJ COD knows how to move a crowd. With over a decade of experience, he’s not just playing tracks — he’s crafting moments.

🎧 You’ve played weddings, club nights & held international residencies. How does your mindset shift between these different types of gigs?
My mindset always starts the same — set the intention to get the crowd moving and create an unforgettable atmosphere. But private events are more personal; it’s about reading the room and tuning into what the couple and their guests love. At international club shows, I get more creative and can push boundaries — deeper cuts, higher energy, more musical exploration.

🎶 Your style blends genres & spans generations. How do you keep your sets fresh while still giving the crowd what they love?
For me, the key is bridging the gap between nostalgia and now. I mix timeless classics with modern remixes, edits, and mashups — so while the crowd hears something familiar, it feels brand new. Every generation on the dancefloor stays engaged, and I stay true to my sound.

🔥What’s one track that never fails to lift the energy — and why does it hit every time?
A modern remix of ABBA – Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! It instantly sparks joy across all ages. The groove is infectious, and with the right remix, it becomes a peak moment every time.
