BANANA CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

- 4 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- margarine for greasing
- ½ cup baking flour

PROCEDURE:

1. Mix sugar and oil thoroughly

2. Add eggs, mashed bananas with vanilla essence and mix

3. Add flour, salt and baking powder to the mixture and mix again

4. Add milk, mix together

5. Pour mixture in greased baking tin

6. Bake at 180° till golden brown

7. Remember to serve with cold drink

BREAD

INGREDIENTS:
- 500g of wheat flour
- 250ml of milk
- 50g butter
- 50g of sugar
- 12g fresh yeast
- 4g of salt
- 2 eggs

PREPARATION:
1. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and 10 grams of sugar in warm milk.
Rest in a warm place until it begins to ferment.

2. In a large bowl, sift flour and add the yeast mixture, eggs, the rest of the sugar and the salt, knead until everything is integrated and a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

3. Add the diced butter at room temperature and knead until a smooth and elastic mixture is obtained, shape into a ball, cover with a clean kitchen towel and rise in a warm place for about 90 minutes or until doubled in size.

4. Divide the dough into pieces of about 50 grams each and give them an oval or "torpedo" shape, distribute on a baking tray and rest covered with a kitchen towel for about 30 minutes.

5. Varnish the buns with egg glaze (1 yolk + 15 ml of milk) and make 2 or 3 transversal cuts with a sharp knife.

6. Turn on and pre-heat the oven to 180°C (356°F) for about 10 minutes.

7. Bake the breads of milk for 20 to 30 minutes until they acquire a dark golden color, remove from the oven and cool on a baking rack.

INGREDIENTS
4 cups all-purpose/plain flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp powder milk
2 tsp yeast
1½ cup milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp melted butter
Enough oil for deep frying

METHOD
*Sift together flour,salt,nutmeg and powder milk ,set aside
*In a jar,add luke warm milk,yeast ,eggs,melted butter and sugar...mix well
*Make a well at the centre of your flour mixture and pour the wet ingredients mixing well
*The dough will be sticky but knead for about 5min
*The dough must not be too thick ,it should be soft and smooth
* Cover the dough,let it rest in warm place for about 60min
*Grease your hands with oil and make little dough balls using the palm of your hand,drop the dough balls in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown

Blueberry Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1cups blueberries
• 1 cup granulated sugar3tspbaking powder
• 3large eggs
• 125ml vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1cup milk
• 3cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. Before I start, I'll preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. I'll grease 24 muffin tins/cups (regular size) or line muffin tin(s) with paper liners.
3. In a large bowl, I'll beat the eggs. Next, I'll slowly add both granulated and brown sugar, beating until smooth. Gradually, I'll add oil and vanilla, mixing until well blended.
4. In another large bowl, I'll mix flour, salt
5. I'll add the flour mixture and milk to the egg mixture, alternating between the two, stirring until well blended. I'll be careful not to overmix.
6. Next, I'll gently fold blueberries into the mixture, making sure not to overmix.
7. I'll fill muffin cups 3/4 to almost full .
8. Placing them on the middle rack of the oven, I'll bake for 20 minutes. To check, I'll use a toothpick in the center of a muffin to ensure it comes out clean.
9. Once out of the oven, I'll allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring the muffins to a cooling rack.
10. These muffins are best served warm or at room temperature.

Scones Recipe

10 Cups Cake flour
1 Cup sugar
12 Tsp baking powder
2Tsp Cinnamon
500g Margarine 70%fat
4 eggs
2cups Amasi or buttermilk
1tsp vanilla

METHOD
1. In a bowl sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and Sugar.
2. Grate margarine and make crumbs
3. In another bowl mix your wet ingredients
4. Mix wet and dry ingredients

PLEASE DON'T OVERMIX YOUR DOUGH AND DONT ADD YOUR WET INGREDIENTS AT ONCE
