Vintage Rental Venue - located on the north side of the Osceola square. We also have public DIY workshops. Our venue can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Contact us if you would like to learn more about having your own DIY private workshop for a bachelorette party, family gathering or a girls' night out. A full-service kitchen and serving area make this a great location for any event.

Throwback Thursday!!! 😀🥰🥰

Good Sunday to everyone. I have some exciting news! I am re-energized! I am looking forward to this new adventure! There must be a reason why this picturesque building did not sell! So I have been busy getting ready for a new chapter. Happy to annouce - Your Sweet Pickins Venue. I just wanted to make this a public annoucement but stiill working on getting the building ready to rent for events. Also working on a website that should go live in a few days. I also plan to have workshops like we use to have. This quiant setting is perfect for graduation parties, baby shower, bridal shower, retirement party, birthday parties, family reunions, small intimate wedding, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties and any small celebration of any kind. With this venue's yesteryear atmosphere - a perfect place for a pop-up shops, crafter or vendor events. So I will be revising Your Sweet Pickins page to reflect the new change.

This vintage door has a rich history. It originated from a chicken coop located on our property. In the 1930s, my great aunt and uncle experienced a fire that destroyed their original farmhouse. Subsequently, they took up residence in the chicken coop during the reconstruction of their home. The door sits on the lower level of the venue. It proudly displays wreaths and other decor throughout the year.

Our Story

A stylish, intimate and quiant event venue located on the north side of the Osceola square. You will feel the warmth and charm once you enter this historic event space - a timeless 2 story venue with an ambiance of character. Built back in the 1920, this beautiful building has hardwood floors, a wooden staircase and a lovely red brick wall located on the second. Comes complete with a full service kitchen.

Perfect for graduation parties, baby shower, bridal shower, retirement party, birthday parties, family reunions, small intimate wedding, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties and any small celebration of any kind. Picturesque, charming, affordable and guaranteed to make your special event one to remember. With this venue's yesteryear atmosphere - a perfect place for a pop-up shop, crafter or vendor events. Crafting and art workshops/events will also be available to the public.

Owned by a long time resident of Clarke County - Robin Linskens. Robin remembers visiting this store as a child with her mother when it was Bonds Jewelry and later on when it was the Mulberry Tree and Kings Canyon Art Gallery. There is a special connection with this building between Robin and her mother - Kathy Barr. Kathy’s father use to deliver coal to this building when it was Bonds Jewelry. No money was exchanged - just good old fashion bartering. This is how Kathy’s father bought his future bride’s wedding rings. The old coal chute is covered up from the outside but is still present in the basement of this building with remnants of coal dust laying at the bottom of the chute.
