Reasons why every entrepreneur should learn how to design their own website......................................................................................
I)🌹 The money you save in hiring someone to do it is money you can spend to make it yours and yours alone, free sites mean advertisers are crawling all over your site.
II)🌹 You can update your site any time you want and keep the content fresh and up to date. I did it with no training whatsoever using Wix, so give it a try and come out of your comfort zone.
III)🌹 It allows you to expand as your business and interests grows. Mine started with a home page, an event gallery page and a blog. It now features a photography and video gallery page and I am able to quickly add other apps etc. when the need arises.
IV)🌹 While social media is a quick look at what you do, a website offers a more detailed showcase of your services and products. You are also able to attract new customers through search engines like Google or Yelp.
V) 🌹 A website offers credibility and is your best means of contacting us. I also feel that clients who communicate through our website, are also more likely to book our services. Most importantly, we are able to gather pertinent information when they complete our event planning questionnaire. That kicks off the process of finding out if we are the right fit for them and they are the right fit for us.
***Frequently asked question by potential clients is, "Do you have a package deal?" Currently NO (each event is uniquely customized for that client and theme, and these are the events we want to do. Send us your ideas and vision board and we will transform those dreams into reality)
***Frequently quoted decorating budget, "$600!" Please be realistic!!! Go on any .com and add items you absolutely must have for your event if you were doing it yourself, and see how many minutes it takes to reach $600!!! Social media is a double-edged sword...realizing that vision board, is going to cost money...there is simply no way to sugar coat it!!!
***Our website is absolutely Fabulous, I know! I had a colleague who was getting married, always supportively oohing and ahhhing on Social media, complain about how difficult it was to find a florist and how varied the quotes were. When I asked her why she didn't ask us for a quote she adamantly insisted that would be a waste of time because she could never afford us😢 Shocking, I know! That one really hit hard, complete and utter refusal on her part to give us a try. I say that to say this, get that quote, but be realistic with your budget, do a little research and be mindful of what things cost. We are not your 💲🌳 event stylist, we love to kick things up a notch or 4, but until we have that consultation you can't know if your realistic budget won't be enough.
