Behind the scenes of the expo ✨

Tonight’s committee meeting is all about the final details for the Belly, Birth & Beyond Gippsland Expo and it’s starting to feel very real! 🤍

From floor plans and exhibitor placements to activities, schedules for talks & workshops, signage and advertising, giveaways and all the little details in between, there’s so much happening behind the scenes to bring this event to life for Gippsland families.

What started as an idea has grown into a community event we are so proud of and we honestly cannot wait to open the doors and welcome you all in.

A huge thank you to our incredible committee who continue to pour so much time, passion and heart into creating something truly special for local families.

We’re getting close now… and we can’t wait to share it all with you 🤍

Born during maternity leave, By A Thread began as a creative outlet through the postpartum period - creating beautiful handmade keepsakes while navigating new motherhood.

What started with sewing for family and friends has grown into a slow-made, sustainable handmade business creating baby bibs, crinkle toys, burp cloths, wall bunting and more ♻️✨

🤍 One more reason we created the Belly, Birth & Beyond Expo 🤍

When you’re expecting a baby or entering early parenthood, there’s suddenly so much being marketed to you.

So many products.
So much advice.
So many opinions.

And it can be really hard to know what’s actually helpful, what’s worth investing in, and who you can genuinely trust.

We created this expo to make things feel simpler.

To give families the chance to meet local businesses face-to-face, ask questions, see products in person, and learn directly from the people behind the brands and services.

There is something so valuable about being able to have real conversations instead of endlessly scrolling online trying to figure it all out alone.

We wanted to create a space that helps parents feel informed, empowered, and confident in the choices they’re making for their family 🤍

That’s a huge part of the heart behind this expo.
