THE IPM BOOK DRIVE

A fundraiser sing-along with the eminent artists Annesley Malawana and Mariazelle Goonatilleke will be held on Friday, 07th July 2017 at 6.30 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of BMICH.
This event is organized by the Young Members’ Forum (YMF) of the Institute of Personnel Management, Sri Lanka in aid of their Annual IPM Book Drive project.
IPM Book Drive is a project initiated by YMF where it donates reading books collected from IPM students, members, staff and the general public to a school with no library facility. Last year Deepani Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura and Pulleliya Central College in Medawachchiya received books worth Rs.800,000/-. This year the IPM Book Drive will walk an extra mile to contribute library furniture and equipment apart from books to E/ Mudunkotuwa Central College, Ratnapura which was affected by the recent floods. The sing-along is such initiative to raise funds for this year’s project as the project requires extra funds to contribute the furniture and equipment.

Dear All, the IPM Book Drive team has commenced collecting books for our next project. We have kept at the entrance of the IPM Library. You may place a reading book which is in good condition.

We also be collecting A/L, O/L and scholarship exam notes and tutorials (to be given to our sisters and brothers who have lost their notes due to floods and who will be sitting for the exams this year).

This will not cost you anything will be a kind gesture of sharing.

Share your A/L Notes with the Affected

Dear All,

Taking into consideration the prevailing situation in the Island, we commenced a mini project in support of our fellow brothers and sisters. We are sure that many of school students have lost their school books and notes. And there may be many A/L student's who are affected and the A/L exam is round the corner.

If you have your A/L notes and tutorials with you which can be given away kindly hand them over to us. We could share with anyone who needs them. You may place them in to the IPM Book Drive Box placed at the IPM reception or hand them over to your respective IPM Regional office.

In the meanwhile if you are of any any school student who is in need of A/L notes kindly inbox us with their details.

The collection of books was massive so we could give books to another. Specially books for A/L classes. They were handed over to A/ Deepani MV in Anuradhapura on 15th October 2016.
