What is the 4 For 44 Team Relay? The relay is 4 person race of 44 miles total. Each participant runs three legs of between 2 to 6 miles for a total 11 miles per runners. Here is the fun part, each team travel the the transfers stations together and drops off the next runner.

Just make sure you pick your teammates carefully as you will be spending a good part of the day in car with them 😉

This year the 44 For 44 will be hosted at Kissing Bridge Ski Resort in Glenwood, NY 25 minutes south of Buffalo on August 24th.

Our crack team of meteorologists have promised no rain and light wind for tomorrow's Happy Half and 5k. (Ok, they might not be meteorologists but they do have at least a half dozen really cool phone weather apps 😉)

Exciting News! After a few year hiatus, the 4 For 44 Team Relay is back August 24th at a new location - Kissing Bridge Ski Resort in Glenwood, NY

Love running? Like hanging out with your running buddies? The 4 for 44 Team Relay is for you.

How does work? The for 4 For 44 is a four person, 44 mile relay where each participant runs four relay legs of between 2 to 4 miles - for a total of 8 to 12 miles per runner.

Here is the fun part - Each team travels with their teammates to relay transfer points in their own vehicles making for a great day with your friends. Team captains assign running legs based an distance and difficulty so there is a bit of strategy.

A few of us from Endurancefactor Events traveled to Memphis last week to help out at the St Jude Marathon Weekend. With over 21,000 registered runners and $15 million dollars raised for children's cancer research, the event is St Jude's largest single day fundraiser. An incredibly rewarding experience.

Have you heard? We are bringing back the kids run at this year's EVL Half! A .75 mile run for all kids 13 and under. Everyone gets a race number, recovery food and drink, and a chocolate Watsons's finisher's medal! Plus another opportunity for your kiddo to dress up, obviously costumes are highly encouraged.

It's been a while since we last had a kids run, these young women are now 19 years old!
