We had a wonderful time on Saturday as we headed to Ottawa to perform at St. Patrick’s Long-Term Care Home. This place holds a special place in my heart because it gives me the opportunity to visit a resident who was like a second mom to me growing up.

It was so heartwarming to see several new faces join in the fun, grab the microphone, and share their love of music. Seeing the joy that music brings and sharing those special moments is what makes these visits so meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who sang along, smiled, danced, and made the afternoon so memorable! ❤️🎤🎶

There is just something so special every time we entertain doing “Carrie’s Karaoke”. Our visit to Mapleview Lodge this past Sunday was so fun and rewarding. The residents were waiting so patiently for us to arrive and set up. It turned into an afternoon filled with smiles, singing along, and dancing with their loved ones. Creating memories that will stay forever in our hearts!💕

Yeehaw as one resident would shout out! Such a wonderful afternoon at Carveth Care Centre! So many new faces, with many of them singing, and even some dancing. The true highlight of it all is always getting to see Gramma!!

What a beautiful afternoon at St. Lawrence Lodge with “Carrie’s Karaoke”! 🎤🎶🎤

The residents and even some of their loved ones took over the mic and sang their hearts out. Every minute was filled with smiles, laughter, and music. Moments like these are truly special!

What a fun afternoon at St. Patrick’s Home in Ottawa with Carrie’s Karaoke! 🍀🎤

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet some new residents as well. We had several great singers today, including one gentleman who sang “Barbara Ann” and dedicated it to his wife. I had to smile because that’s my mom’s name too, and I know she was up in heaven watching over that special moment. ❤️

There were plenty of dancers, some fun Italian requests, and one of my favourites …Ti Amo.

One moment that will stay in my heart was when Louise opened her eyes bright and reached for my hand while I was singing “Mama He’s Crazy.” She’s like a second mom to me, and it was a moment I will always cherish. 💕

It’s always such a rewarding experience visiting each home. Thank you for the wonderful time today!

We had such a wonderful time performing at the beautiful new Broadview home in Smiths Falls! The home is absolutely gorgeous, and the residents were so happy to welcome us back.

There were lots of smiles, some singing along, and even a few residents dancing in their wheelchairs, which is always the best part of what we do. 🎤🎶

One resident’s family member asked for our photo again and shared how much they enjoy the entertainment and how happy it makes the residents. Hearing that kind of feedback from loved ones truly means the world to us. Moments like that are exactly why we love what we do.

Another great afternoon in Ottawa at the Carleton Lodge. It was our first time there and hopefully not the last! The residents and staff were singing and even got up dancing.

What a beautiful afternoon at MVL, surrounded by amazing residents and many family members celebrating Valentine’s Day with their loved ones. 💕

The best part of what we do is seeing the residents sing along. It’s truly the most rewarding feeling.

On this day of love, I was surprised with a Valentine’s necklace at the start, and at the end, presented with a homemade card for Chris and I, signed by the residents. I’ll be honest… I got a little choked up. So incredibly grateful. ❤️

Thank you for always welcoming Chris and I with such warmth and kindness.
