Happy, Happy Birthday to the fabulous Kristalyn Loson Atwood — Kristalyn is an amazing woman, mom, attorney, community volunteer and more — so, it was so much fun to celebrate her at the beautiful, historic Langford-Kingston Home last week as she gathered a group of her sweet friends for Mahjong with Liz!

Everyone had such a delightful time learning, playing, and reveling in Kristalyn’s special day! 🥳

So Help Me Mahj LOVES birthdays — our instructor Liz even has a Happy Birthday mat and does so much to make birthdays special!! 🎈

Love is sharing life’s adventures… and sometimes that adventure is learning Mahjong together! 🀄❤️

This delightful couple spent four intensive lessons with instructor Liz before heading north to the Carolinas for the summer. Over the course of eight hours, they learned the game, built their confidence, and discovered a new hobby they can enjoy together for years to come.

Even better, Liz helped connect them with Mahjong groups in North Carolina, including games at their local library and senior center, so they’ll have plenty of opportunities to continue playing and making new friends.

While we’re sure they’ll have a wonderful summer, saying goodbye was bittersweet. Watching students discover the joy of Mahjong—and seeing couples learn and play together—is one of the things we love most.

SoHelpMeMahj had a terrific time, at this, the second of two mahj learning sessions!

Our instructor, Liz was assisted by our dear friend at earlier this week where we had lots of happy winners and plenty of “cheers” when it came to Birdie Bams 🦜

Are you ready to learn how to play Mahjong? First, you’ll need an experienced, certified instructor — suggest DMS for rates and arrangements and Liz will bring the Mahj to YOU!

This spring, So Help Me Mahj’s own Liz Abbott packed up her tiles and headed to beautiful Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she had the pleasure of teaching Mah Jongg at the stunning Steel Club!

From Southwest Florida to Pennsylvania and beyond, Liz continues to share her love of the game with players of all skill levels—helping new enthusiasts discover the fun, friendship, strategy, and excitement that make Mah Jongg so addictive.
