Custom request of Blake's emblem this time, in a stainless steel finish. From the animated show . I now have molds for Ruby, Yang, & Blake. Just need a Weiss commission! ❄️ lol

The Ruby Rose brooch/belt buckles from are the number one thing I get requested to make for others. But sometimes making a bunch of the same thing gets to be a bit tedious & it loses some of the fun

So I'm always grateful when someone has a request to switch things up a bit!

The person who requested this one is doing a cosplay mashup of Ruby & Weiss, & wanted the petals to be blue instead of chrome. I love how this looked & you can now find the option on my shop to request custom colors for the Ruby Rose emblems!

People often assume that as a cosplayer, I probably go all out on Halloween. But almost every year I end up doing almost nothing during that time because I'm usually too busy doing commissions to help everyone else with their costumes 😅

But this year, it looks like I will be helping out with a local community event Halloween night. & I was trying to figure out which of my costumes I should wear to it, & I decided to go back to my very first official cosplay I made, which was Sailor Jupiter, from my favorite cartoon as a little girl, the anime Sailor Moon. I wore this at Otakon 2011!

This time around, I will be using a lighter brown wig, instead of my naturally very dark brown hair. I didn't have a lot of money when I first started cosplay & wigs were pretty pricey, so I usually tried to do coaplays where I could avoid buying wigs at the time. It is now much easier to get affordable decent quality wigs thankfully, so I barely had to spend anything to get her hair more accurate. It'll be fun wearing her again, & hopefully I can get some better photos this time!

The funniest thing though, is that Jupiter is the tallest of the Sailor Scouts lol, so everyone had commented how funny & cute it was on the irony of how short I was when I wore her 😂 I'm the chibi version!

P.s. I still need to do a video on how I made her boots!

I am super stoked to announce that I'll be hosting a panel this year at Anime Matsuri 2023, in Houston TX, August 10-13!

I'll be discussing various tips & methods to save money while creating cosplay outfits, props & armor. As well as tips on getting good photos & going to cons on a budget.

I felt like this was a good topic to discuss, especially considering the current financial state things are in.

People would likely be surprised what I've been able to pull off with very tight budgets before. It just takes some creativity.

I'll be joined by some friends in this panel as well!

My Lal Mirch goggles!

To save myself time, I bought white ski goggles that already had red lenses & created white panels & the headphone parts which I attached with white fabric so I can adjust them as needed. I'm overall really happy with how it came out. I just need to clean up the edges a bit of the pieces I made.

Did you know the Ruby Rose brooches I make can also be used as a belt buckle, like in her earlier version of other outfits?
