I don't understand the concept of variety in wedding buffets. Us, wedding attenders are members of the Consumers Association of Kenya. We eat everything. You make white chapos and brown chapos and place them next to each other hoping that people will have an 'either or' moment in front of the chafing dishes.

The truth is, we will eat white chapos and brown chapos, white rice and brown rice, brown ugali and white ugali. Three types or mukimo, watermelon, pineapples, beef stew, boiled beef, kuku choma, kuku pono, samaki wa kupakwa, samaki wenye hawajapakwa, soda and water. It can't be soda or water. We will fight the person you let manage soda and water if he tells us, “chukua either soda ama maji.” Because we will take soda and maji.

By the time we are done with the queue, we have a 7 day meal plan on one plate. It is written, “He prepares a table before me...” Surely, He can't prepare a table before you and then you eat brown rice pekee yake. If He wanted that, it would have been written, “He prepares a plate before me...” Read your bible and understand things.

We don't go to weddings to be told what to choose. We go to weddings because we know what to choose.

Anyway, the motivation here is “you were born an original don't die a photocopy.” I don't know who said it and why, but it was big in high school. Seven people wrote it on the success cards they sent me.
