I loved being able to deliver some joy to my friend, Calli, who owns Coffee & Crumb in the Quad Cities today! She started her truck earlier this year and has been killing it! The coffee, energy drinks and baked goodies were so delicious! Has me wishing she was closer! I’m so proud of her for following a dream! If you are in the Quad Cities, check her out! ☕️🍪

We got the prettiest drop off today 😍 My sweet friend Abby brought me the most beautiful bouquet from her new business Wild & Sweet Flower Co. Everything she puts together is absolutely stunning and I can't wait to see where this new adventure takes her! 💜🌸🌻

Spent the quiet hours gathering garden goodness to prep for today’s fun—set up and ready before Riverside’s Trek Fest Parade (yes, I caffeinated accordingly ☕️🌼).

After the parade, swing by Mother Hen Homestead to grab some treats, lemonades, and one of these summer-styled stunners! The gardens were showing off today—echinacea in particular has me swooning. 😍

I missed out last week delivering flowers to Mother Hen Homestead stand due to the heat but I’m looking forward to this coming weekend. In anticipation for Saturday, let me share a bit about my last Saturday delivery. 😆

After delivering a few bouquets, I walked in the door and my daughter Waverly (age 8, very fancy 💁🏼‍♀️) looked at me and said, “Wait… you delivered flowers like that?!”

She was appalled by my messy hair and workout attire.
What she doesn’t see yet is that the beauty of this work isn’t in how polished I look—it’s in the intention, the care, and the joy it brings. These flowers are grown right here, by hand, and arranged with love in the middle of life’s chaos. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s always meaningful.
One day she’ll get it. But for now—I’ll let her keep me humble. 😉💐”*

Happy Father’s Day!

This little bud vase was Waverly’s idea—she wanted to pick some flowers just for Dad, so we snipped a few roses and early bloomers to surprise him.

Nathan is not only the backbone of our family, but also of Wild & Sweet—edging beds, digging holes, building new spaces, and keeping things growing (literally and figuratively). Nothing we’re building would be possible without him.

Today we’re extra thankful for all the incredible men in our lives—dads, grandpas, brothers, uncles, and friends—who show up with quiet strength and steady care. And we hold close in our hearts the fathers and grandfathers we miss deeply, whose legacy still blooms around us. 💐

Had some help arranging flowers this morning—Charlie has officially declared himself a future shop dog (someday… maybe? 🐾🤔)
