Tresillian Singers We are a women-only choir based in Tresillian, Truro, Cornwall. We sing to entertain and often fundraise for charities.

We rehearse every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in Tresillian Village Hall.

We shall be in concert with Mevagissey Male Choir and raising funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance

As we continue to mark the 75th anniversary of Nankersey Male Choir this year, we’re proud to look back at the rich history and Cornish spirit that shaped us and share a bit of potted history at the same time!

Formed in 1950 in the heart of Flushing (known in Cornish as Nankersey), the choir grew from a small group of passionate local voices into one of Cornwall’s most respected male voice ensembles. From village halls to cathedrals, from local events to international tours, they’ve shared the sound of Cornwall far and wide.

Did you know?
In the early years, rehearsals were held in the back room of the Royal Standard pub, and choir members would often walk miles from nearby villages just to sing together.

Over the decades, the choir has performed alongside international artists and raised thousands for local charities.
