Dahlia tubers are officially tucked away until spring!
I didn’t fully rely on the cooler method this year - I also did a tried and true method of storing some in crates with peat moss in a cold room (the tubers in this video are not even a quarter of what are stored in the cold room). I find that there is no perfect way to storing tubers. Everyone has a way that works best for them. Sometimes it’s fun to experiment and try new methods though!

The mornings are getting chilly up at the flower farm. September is usually our last full month until we start getting light frosts. I’ll be picking flowers and making bouquets as long as I possibly can!

Hollyhocks are biennials usually blooming in their second year but we were lucky enough to get sensational blooms their first year! They give a gorgeous cottage garden vibe in both gardens and floral arrangements 🤍
