Life looks completely different than it did last year. A lot has changed personally and professionally this past year and this space will begin to reflect that. I lost my father 3 months ago. He was my son’s hero. He was an incredible Father, grandfather and husband to my mom. My heart deeply misses him. This morning I was greeted by the most gorgeous sunrise at the lake, his favorite place. Lifting our eyes changes perspective, and sometimes that shift in perspective is just what we need!

This couple and their guests knew how to celebrate. The music played all night long and you could feel the love radiate across the room. There was a last minute change up with their floral colors and I couldn’t have been more excited to work with such fun floral combo. Sometimes those unexpected changes are well worth it!

I enjoyed creating floral arrangements for a special baby shower this weekend. It was gender neutral Peter Rabbit themed. 🤍 did an amazing job with balloon arch and my sister knocked the grazing table out of the park! Love doing small projects that add just the extra touch in such huge celebrations filled with laughter and joy!

This tablescape was a dream to create. I loved pulling in the outside seasonal branches and blooms inside. Flowers have a magical way of making that transition seamless. I always say flowers are the link; the link to bringing the spring day that you see through the window to your dining table, the link to start good conversation, to link all 5 of your senses together and the link to help share your emotion- in grief, happiness or love. They bring the magic in the way the connect.

This is the first year in many I’m not spending my Valentine’s weekend creating arrangements… it’s odd but I’m very thankful for an opportunity to take a special trip with my son. I wanted to say a special thank you to this corner of Instagram who have supported me through all of my floral business endeavors over the years and especially your referrals as I have shifted towards wedding and event floral design. I look forward to meeting new couples & clients as we dream up and execute floral designs for your weddings and events this year! Let in and give out love this weekend ❤️

These past couple of weeks have been full of weddings and events, and the busy-ness that is Fall in general. I’m going into the week of Thanksgiving with an attitude of gratitude. This is a phrase my son and I have been talking about lately. 🙏 We have been working to train our minds to focus on what we have instead of what we do not- it shifts perspective, and I’m thankful for that!
I’ve majorly lacked sharing what we have been up to the past couple of months- but my heart is way more full than my Instagram feeds leads and I am not really that mad about it.

We were so honored to do this wedding last weekend for a sweet friend. I have known the bride since she was a tiny young girl, so it is just incredibly sweet to see her enter into marriage and become a wife! My sweet cousin got married just the other weekend and what a beautiful celebration it was! My dad even officiated their wedding. 💕 It was a hot June day in Georgia but it’s so special for me to be able to help make family members or close friends days come to life. When you have been working on healthier eating habits then you see a picture like this and just want a piece of cake... All in moderation right? I’ve learned it’s okay to have a small piece but not to let that spiral me off course like it has in the past... it’s all in the name of balance. Hope you’re having the best summer yet filled with all the sweetness of food occasionally but more so with the sweetest of them all- special relationships! It’s all in cultivating and surrounding ourselves with who and what matters most.

Gold lanterns, garden style blooms, a huge bar, and a view of the city & horse racing track. The rooftop at is a fantastic venue in Louisville. If you’re planning a wedding there, I highly recommend.
