Reflecting back on last weekend... Thank you to Soldiers Of Steel Festival for inviting me to work with you during this inaugural weekend of a cool new metal festival Seattle has definitely been in need of!
Thank you to all of the artists who performaned and the fans who showed up for this festival for letting me capture these moments of connection and joy of live music.
Sharing one of my favorite shots here on this post, it's the fans. I started out as a music fan before getting into music photography. 15 years later I still love these moments and thank everyone who's continued to allow me access to do what I love. To me, images need to tell the story and capture the emotion. No image ever needs to be perfect, it just needs to let viewers feel something and connect from their own experiences.
It was a long week of editing, but it's all a wrap now. I hope you all enjoyed the festival and enjoy memories I've captured through my work. Thank you for the new and continued connections at the show.
