When EuroClub 2014 opens its doors on
April 28th, it will be in a very special and
extraordinary setting. The venue chosen
for this year’s Eurovision Night Club is
none other than an architectural diamond,
showing Scandinavian functionalism at its
best: VEGA! Originally called “The People’s House”, VEGA
gave the working class a place to host their
family parties in beautiful surroundings at
a pric
e that they could afford. When VEGA
was transformed into a music venue in 1996,
the spirit and decor of the house was kept
intact and upgraded to suit the needs of the
ever evolving music scene of Copenhagen,
making it one of the leading concert stages
in Europe. Good news! More fans get to experience EuroClub. EuroClub is the place where artists, delegations, press, and fans go to meet and have fun after rehearsals and events. 10 lucky fans from each country will get the accreditation that gives them access to EuroClub. But what about the other fans? We would like more fans to have this opportunity! Therefore we are happy to announce that we in cooperation with EBU and DR have come up with a solution that gives more OGAE fans access to EuroClub. Introducing one-day EuroClub wristbands! EuroClub wristbands give one day access to EuroClub and are only available for OGAE members with a valid membership card. The number of available wristbands differ from day to day and it’s first come, first serve. A wristband package consists of a wristband and two drink coupons for EuroClub and costs 100 DKK (the price of the two drinks - the wristband itself is free). It is not possible to get a wristband without buying the two drink coupons. This system is made to ensure that the people picking up the wristbands actually make use of them and come to EuroClub. In the end this means that more fans get the chance to experience EuroClub, because we avoid having people picking up free wristbands without using them. There is maximum one wristband per person per day so it is not possible to pick up wristbands for your friends. When all wristbands for a certain day are given out, this will be posted on EuroClub’s page. From April 28 there will be a limited number of wristband packages available for pre-sale for future dates. This means that you can buy wristband packages for your whole stay in Copenhagen on the first day if you are fast. That way you don't have to visit the Tourist Information every day to get your wristband. The wristbands can be obtained at:
