In Loving Memory
Teresa Lynn Bonne, formerly of Rush County, Indiana, passed away at age 64 in Port Charlotte, Florida, July 3, 2023.
Teresa was born at Rush Memorial Hospital, February 5, 1959. Her parents are Harold L Souder, and Carol D Souder, deceased.
She is survived by her husband Michael Bonne. As well as son Jacob Bonne, daughter Emily Bonne-Piper, and granddaughters Elleanor Lynn Piper and Elaina Grace Piper.
Other family survivors in addition to her father Harold include three sisters and their spouses as well as a brother and his wife. Cathy and Greg Pratt, Cindy and James Newkirk, Shari and Bruce Davis, and Steven and Holly Souder.
Teresa was a lifelong church member and steadfast Christian Believer. She attended Center Christian Church, Hannegan Christian Church and Knightstown United Methodist Church in Indiana. In Florida she was active in numerous churches, denominations and ministries.
Michael and Teresa met in youth group when Teresa was 15 and a half and married at 19. The next 45 years of marriage, “till death do us part”, is an example of her strength of character and commitment to love.
In addition to active church work she also was the “undercover boss” of her husband’s many business enterprises. She also was a substitute school teacher and preschool teacher. She spent many years in retail sales, for others and in her own stores.
She loved antiques, the seashore, lighthouses, shelling, and all things Disney. Every vacation added a few small stones to her collection of “ pretty rocks”. Her photo,video and snapshot collection of family and friends is legendary. A passionate collection flowing unabated through the years, from her Jr High Kodak Instamatic to her ever present cell phone.
But most knew her, not for her hobbies or possessions, but an entire life spent in love, sharing, and commitment to others.
Strangers, family, friends, her love knew no bounds. Her motto could be simply stated as “ put your family before yourself” and “treat everyone like family”.
The family would like to invite Teresa’s friends to a Celebration Open House on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Come to a lunch and visiting with family from noon till 5pm at the Knightstown United Methodist Church in Knightstown, Indiana.

Philippians 4:19, Our God will supply All our needs! We are thankful! We made our own Thanksgiving Dinner! (Some made turkey, but some made sushi and Starbucks Lol) Prayed for it and prayed thankfulness for All our blessings! Come join our Sunday school on Sunday mornings at 10:00. Integrety Church! God always shows up! ❤️

We had a wonderful morning at New Life Church! Michael loves telling the kids the Bible stories and brining them to life! Today it was Moses and the 10 Plagues! Let my People Go!

Pastor Mike teaching the Bible story of Pharaoh and his dreams! The story of the 7 fat cows and the 7 ugly and gaunt cows! Joseph said God knows the meaning of this! The kids love to do the skits and learn God's word through the bible! Amazing kids at New Life Church in Bonita Springs!
