I appreciate the interest in the Musicals and Duets Tourney. But there has been a flurry of tournaments and I feel like burnout is inevitable. I'm going to pass on doing this one and instead include it in the Heat Karaoke Championships tournament at Springtime as new elements to try out for. Regards, -=-Craig

Ok with one bar partner in for sure I'll be checking in on others but can confirm we WILL have a fall 8 week tourney starting mid sept. This one is Musicals and Duets. Single singers will choose a favorite song from musical TV shows, Movies, Broadway. Duets involve 2 singers dueting any song they like with at least a 60/40 ratio to be set by Heat. That's to prevent them from becoming a lead singer and a cameo. Info on tickets coming soon once I solidify the rest of the bar partners. -=-Craig

As we move into our last Qualifier for the Summer Tournament this Weds, here is some important information! We will be taking the Top 10 scores from the 4 weeks on to the semi final! We will also take the Top Score of Week 4 Qualifier regardless of the score
THEN choose the Top 10.

Some data from the first 3 weeks!
Highest score: 94.50
Lowest score: 55.33
Average (arithmetic mean): 77.42

Current Top 10 scores! (A singers Top Score Only is counted, some would have been Top 10 more than once, but thats not allowed so these are the scores that would have went forward as of Week 3 and thus are the scores to beat) 94.50, 93.00, 88.50, 87.50, 85.50, 85.00, 83.00, 83.00, 81.50, 78.50

Our 2nd Qualifier for the Summer Tourney is on Weds at SportsPage Bar and Grill in Kennewick. we will be taking competitors from 8pm to 9:30pm only, regular karaoke during and after as well. Get your scores today, decide if you want to try again any of the next 2 weeks to improve your score. Top scorers will be announced at the Week 4 Qualifier to move to Week 5 Semi-finals!
