Backyard Barbershop Bash

With a lot of happy memories and some amount of sadness , I've decided that I am retiring the Backyard Barbershop Bash. The COVID crisis has taken a toll, of course, but also, I feel led to put my energies into serving the Sweet Adelines community in different ways these days.

Thank you to all the quartets who crossed our makeshift stage over the 9 Bash events that we held in 2017-2019, and thank you to all of the friends and family who came and supported those quartets. We had a lot of fun, didn't we?

Here's to happy times, past, present and future!

In light of the uncertainty around public gatherings due to COVID-19, we here at the Backyard Barbershop Bash will hold off on setting any dates for the coming 2020 season. We expect we’ll be back in the swing of things before summer’s end.

Another great Bash is in the books. What a beautiful night! We counted about 110 people in the backyard enjoying the great singing and fun friendship. Thanks so much to all who performed, all who attended, and all who helped make the night so successful! See you all again at the Oct 12 Monster Bash!
