Hello it's your friend Jordan, eschewing every bit of marketing savvy to drop something into your laps right now. Because there's no more time to wait on something this important.

We're sad. Not a in cute way. Not in a mopey way. In a "we've been living in a pandemic for too long after surviving four years of Trump and I want to save the world but how the f**k are we supposed to change hundreds of years of s**t and oh by the way our knees hurt" kind of way.

We've done a great job at pretending the house isn't burning down around us. A Masterclass really. We've deluded ourselves that talking around the problems will give us the space to get through it and we just keep avoiding the obvious. It's hard to make change when the world seems resolute on killing itself. It's hard to talk about social impact when you could barely get out of bed today. It's hard to want to tear down racial barriers when you get closed up talking to your own family about it. It's hard to look polished when everything in the world seems to be chipping away at you. It's hard to pretend that we're going to girlboss it up when most #girlbosses are repackaging patriarchy and killing our spirits. It's hard to give a single f**k when it seems too much.

Enter #SadCEOsClub.

This isn't a course. It isn't a mastermind. It's a freaking lifeline. I'm doing the opposite of everything we've been told to do in the digital space -- make something passive, scalable, with indirect contact. This is a commitment to incredibly intimate, small group, directly facilitated conversations with other CEOs like yourself. It's a six month, thirteen session commitment. No course, no videos, no pdfs, just a designed space for vulnerable conversation, insight, and collaborative mentoring.

We're officially on break. Why? Because we want to and need to; because our #restisnecessary. When was the last time you made your rest necessary? We promise it is.

We hope our time off gives you time to reflect on how to prioritize your rest as well. Check the "Aufwiedersehen" blog post in our link in bio for more info on how to stay in contact with us, work with us, and more.

We still have content scheduled but we won't be responsive. You'll see this in captions moving forward: *We're on summer holiday because we like to rest. Feel free to comment but we'll see you in August!*

Wedding planner's petition calls for wedding publications to make anti-racism pledges, feature more Black couples

“The narratives we have about who has access to power, wealth and happiness dictate the trajectory of our lives,” she says. “If you don't see yourself in an industry dedicated to love, you can begin to believe you don't deserve any. I've had people tell me they've had identity crises because their hair texture, body, skin color, gender identity, the totality of who they are doesn't exist in wedding media. That's heartbreaking. If they don't see you, you begin to think you're invisible or you don't matter. We can convince ourselves that weddings are inconsequential, that the industry is froufrou, but it's not true. If you don't believe love is available to you, if you don't believe it's even possible, what kind of choices do you make? What kind of life is that?”

A wedding planner's petition is pushing for outlets like The Knot and "Martha Stewart Weddings" to offer better representation.

Yesterday I made a video formally requesting pledges of anti-racism from major wedding publications and platforms. I also requested action plans with deadlines for how they'll highlight black event professionals and submissions from black couples, especially black q***r ones.

It's not enough to have one post at the height of black death. Show us while we're still living. It's time to step up.

Please keep sharing, please keep tagging, and please keep using your voice so we can influence the change this industry desperately needs. 🖤🏳️‍🌈

Legendary | Series Premiere (Full Episode) | HBO Max

It’s Pride Month, a time of celebrating exactly who you are as you are. It comes at a time where the black q***r community is mourning the murders of Ahmuad Arbery (Feb 23), Breonna Taylor (March 13), Monika Diamond (March 18), Nina Pop (May 3), Tony McDade (May 27), and George Floyd (May 25). It comes at a time San Antonio is mourning the murder of Helle Jae O’Reagan (May 6). It can be hard to feel pride when the world presents you reason after reason to be enraged, sorrowful, and despondent.

I started All The Days because I realized the radical power of love and joy when it came from marginalized groups like black people, people of color, the LGBTQIA community, the disabled community, and every intersection therein. I started because as a black woman I realized far too often our lives are seen as conditional in a white supremacist, patriarchal, abelist society. I wanted to support couples who deserved to have their love stories shouted from the mountaintops.

The past few weeks I’ve forgotten that. I’ve been overwhelmed and angry. I’ve been scared for the people I love and the people I don’t know who live in a world where living is enough for those in authority to murder you. I wish I could take everyone some place else where they could be loved, respected, and allowed to live as big and boldly as they deserve. Where parents didn’t disown their children for being q***r, where transwomen and transmen were not murdered simply for being, where black women could enjoy a quiet evening at home, where black men could run in the neighborhood, where we could all just live without the fear of murder.

I can’t give you that. But I can give money to organizations that are helping (like the Minnesota Freedom Fund). I can give couples moments where they feel the full extent of the love they have and are and deserve. I can try. Please try y’all. If you have any kind of privilege, we need you to try.

Watching the premiere of Legendary reminded me of all the ways we can celebrate who we are while we demand for a better world. It helped me cope even if just for a day.

How are you coping? 🏳️‍🌈 #wegrowlovestories #wealsodismantlesystemsofoppression

Keeping Calm in the Covid-19 Storm - ALL THE DAYS

"I took a swimming class in February and we learned how to swim for survival. Instead of looking down into the pool you floated on your back. You made small minimal kicks with your legs. Your arms were at your side moving as if you had wings. It was a swim that took minimal effort on the body but stressed my mind out. I couldn’t see ahead or behind me. I had to keep my chin up so water didn’t get in my nose or mouth. I had to have faith that I was moving towards my intended destination even if I couldn’t see it.

Today I’m asking you to do the same. Even if you can’t see what’s ahead, have faith that you’ll get to where you need to be."

Sending you all love! 💚🌈

Our Story

All The Days is San Antonio’s wedding planning destination for the LGBTQIA community and creatives. We don’t sell fairytales when your love story is better than all of them. We don’t push princesses in tiaras when you’d rather be partners. We don’t want bridal magazine cover models, but all the couples the industry chooses to ignore. You want bliss without the bu****it, advocacy with a bit of sass. With an uncommon love, you deserve an unconventional planner and an unforgettable experience.
