“After so many wonderful years on the road and countless memories made with my fans for whom I owe everything… I’ve decided to slow down a bit and spend more time at home with my family.

However, my love for performing and connecting with my fans is as strong as ever.

These upcoming select shows in Las Vegas, Temecula and Lincoln, CA already hold a special place in my heart as they were hand-picked by me for next year.

I can’t wait to share this next chapter with my fans from all over the world. It’s going to be something truly special.”

Why Your Band Must Have A Practice Schedule. Do you "want" to play or do you "need" to play?
I always enjoyed all my group rehearsals. "If you have a problem it will always show on stage" a quote from the late, great Pat Galo. Frank Barcelona RIP once said to me "I dislike part time musicians." People always saw a smile on my face. I loved playing. Why? Because playing was in my blood, I needed to play. Guys around 65 years old finish there careers and come to me for gigs with money for everything needed: PA's, promotion you name it, they come in all shapes and sizes. Many just want to play. Some want to be rock stars. However, with the lack of gigs to some many need to work during the day. If it was in "your blood" you would have practiced and never become an engineer, doctor, etc. While much is made of inspiration and a passion for music, a more pragmatic approach is essential when it comes to improving your performance. Certainly setting and sticking to a solid practice schedule is needed, whether you're a solo act or part of a band. As much as we’d all like to think that inspiration and the pure love of music is enough to keep musicians motivated to practice, challenges like day-time work, school, or personal relationships tend to get in the way of our goals. If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, then becoming a serious and competent musician can only happen with action and planning; not only playing music when you feel like it.
Serious bands don’t happen by accident.
Bands have to be strong communicators and planners to become successful. You’ll have a much better chance of sticking to a regular practice schedule if your band members are realistic about how often you can get together and play. The times you all agree on should be seen as going to work because it takes a massive commitment and effort to create, release, and perform serious music with a band. This means getting together to practice when you don’t feel like it and when it’s not convenient. This might be a tough pill to swallow, but you’ll have to make sacrifices if you’re serious about making music. Do you "want" to play or do you "need" to play?
