Wednesday evening I set up an appetizer table for Ann's business event at The Rackets Tap House. Menu: pinwheels, charcuterie cups, bbq meatballs and a dessert tray of brownies, mini cheesecakes and peanut butter bites. Also prepared hot apple cider and punch. On Thursday evening Kelly and I served a buffet for the Dickinson County Heritage meeting. Menu: fresh tossed salad, seasoned green beans, cheesy hashbrown casserole, pulled pork, brisket and rolls. Dessert was choice of pie, cherry, apple or pumpkin. Thank you for your support.

The Smokey Valley Train had a murder mystery tonight. The event took place in the Eveland Car. We served a tossed salad, green beans, creamy scalloped potatoes and stuffed porkloin. Dessert was a slice of apple pie. Thank you to my group that plated the 115 meals tonight. Emma, Jordan, Kelly, Lora and Tori. What a great team! Thank you to the Smokey Valley Train Organization for the beautiful flower arrangement. Tonight was our last time serving the train. Thank you for so many opportunities.

Busy last week with ten events. This week I delivered the meal to Hospice of Dickinson County to celebrate there year and volunteers. Menu: tossed salad, green beans, scalloped potatoes, Italian chicken, brisket and rolls. Friday was a luncheon for Senator Tracy Mann and scholarship candidates. Menu: tossed salad, marracco vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy, Italian chicken, brisket and rolls. Dessert options: apple or pumpkin pie. Saturday is the murder mystery train. A few items to prep for that, one more porkloin, scalloped potatoes and salad mix. Thank you for your support! Happy Halloween 🎃

Saturday at lunch, I prepared a meal for the Parsons. A Celebration of Life for Pam. The buffet was homemade pasta salad, potato salad, ham and swiss cheese on mini croissants or brioche buns, and turkey bacon ranch wraps on spinach or tomato basil tortillas and choice of chips. Then on Monday evening, I prepared a charcuterie board for Amanda and her guests. Thank you so much for your business!

A Busy weekend for Lucinda's Katering. Served lunch to the American Legion Event at the Greyhound Hall of Fame. They chose a tossed salad, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, Italian chicken and brisket. Then we did a dinner train that was moved from the 18th. Ady, Emma, I, along with train staff served the guests. The Santa Fe menu was a tossed salad, string beans, mashed potatoes and roasted gravy and tender roast beef. Dessert was apple pie. Sunday was a special day for Cara and Micheal. Emma and I served at their wedding. Menu chosen: fresh salad, green beans, mashed potatoes and cream gravy, Italian chicken and brisket. The celebration was at Sand Springs Venue. Thank you to everyone for your business!

Saturday night was a special evening for Kayla and Eli Beery. The venue chosen was The Heights Venue by Lindsborg, Kansas. Emma, Claudine and I helped serve their guests: tossed salad, seasoned green beans, cheesy hashbrown casserole, pulled pork, brisket and rolls. For gluten free guests, we had baked potatoes and biscuits. Laura and Jeff had the building decorated beautifully. The wedding was held under the trees by a sunflower field. The musician sounded awesome. The music and guitar echoed in the light breeze. Thank you for hiring Lucinda's Katering. Congratulations 💕

Need to play catch up on several events we have done the last week. Friday was Donnie Boyer's 25th anniversary working for the City of Solomon. I put together a charcuterie board and pinwheels for their event. Sunday, the United Methodist Church welcomed their new minister. The buffet: toss salad, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken breast in a basil cream sauce, and minute steaks with sauteed onions in roasted gravy. We had fall colored cupcakes for dessert. So excited for the congregation.Then this Saturday, Emma, Kelly and I were at The Sullivan for a wedding celebration. The venue was beautifully decorated in candles, pampas grasses, mirrors and roses. The menu chosen: fresh tossed salad, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, roasted porkloin and brisket. Congratulations to McKenzie and James on their special day💕

Congratulations Scott and Colleen Berry.💕 Last night the Elks was transformed into a beautiful and magical wedding venue. The couple chose a taco bar for the buffet. We served hard and soft shells, ground beef and seasoned chicken, refried beans, chips and queso, and a array of toppings. Along with beverages was a fresh vegetable and fruit trays. Last night we had the opportunity to serve on the Smokey Valley Railroad dinner train. We served toss salad with sweet onion dressing, snowflake potatoes, green beans and stuffing layered chicken breast. For dessert was strawberry shortcake. Busy day on Friday. Went to Salina, Kansas, Kenwood Hall for a Men's Fastpitch Reunion. Served a tossed salad, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, smoked pork and brisket, rolls and butter. Dessert was peach cobbler with whipped topping. Sixty ball players attended the event. In the evening, we traveled to Hope, Kansas, for Phil Lorson's Celebration of Life. The family chose cole slaw, smoked mac and cheese, potato chips and smoked pulled pork sandwiches. Blessing for All. Thank you for hiring us and helping us get both events completed. Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to Linda and Kent Sauer💕 We went to Salina on Saturday evening to set up a taco bar for their celebration. We had taco beef and chicken, hard and soft shells, refried beans and Spanish rice. Toppings included shredded cheese and lettuce, diced onions and tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream, olives and limes.🌮 Chips, queso and salsa was also set up. This presentation was for the new CEO students of Dickinson County 2025. They gathered this evening with their facilitator, board members and mentors to learn about this special program. The grazing table had fresh vegetables and dip, charcuterie board and crackers, breaded chicken pieces and dip, and fresh fruit. Dessert was mini eclairs and cheesecake bites. Congratulations! 🎉🎊🎉

My Adventure

It has been a wonderful start to my new business. I appreciate all of the fabulous people in my community and surrounding area that have welcomed my new venture with great enthusiasm. You have kept me busy and I love it. I look forward to another fun year working on ideas and planning your special event.
