On May 8, the legendary English broadcaster, natural historian, conservationist, writer, producer, and narrator Sir David Attenborough celebrated his 100th birthday.

In celebration of this amazing centenerian, columnist Edgar Ong writes on Attenborough's connection to Borneo since the 1950s, including in 2014 when Ong was responsible for the SKY 3D television special ‘Conquest of the Skies’ segment in Sarawak -- shot over a week at the Bako National Park in Kuching.
