Well what a night!
Tubes all clean, rubbish all done and equipment packed up.. and I must say I'm already planning next years!
I wanted to say a huge thank you.
Firstly.. Lights over Marlborough , from the amazing Whitney Street School. How do I thank you enough??! To let me keep weaving my sky magic for this spectacular event. Always so excited and supportive no matter what I throw at you! I love this whole event, and the work they all put in the background is immense. I am only one cog in this huge clock! Thank you so so much.
My Crew. Wow. Year after year you are here for me and this event. Full of enthusiasm and excitement. It is a joy to work alongside you all.
Kelvin Holdaway .. Thank you so so much for everything, for the countless hours helping me, the loan of all the equipment and firing systems and time you put into this event, I literally could not do it without you! 😊
Phillip Rayner .. My mentor. Without you, I would have not got this show in my books, you pushed to make it mine and help me along every step of the way. Phil you are my Calmer.. my zen when my heart is racing. Thank you for all that you do!
John Ivanof .. Thank you for always being a part of this event, and driving all the way over from Nelson to help me bring magic to the skies! Great conversations and company. Tha I you!
Dana Goodwin .. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic company, you do anything I ask of you, never complain, and are there for all the dirty work that most people would walk away from. Your keenness for this job always brings me a smile, and I look forward to supporting you to get qualified.
Kaige Harris .. My newest team member.. Thank you for all your hard work. You are learning quickly.. and one day you will take over from me to bring the magic to the skies!

There are so many people involved. Chris Holdaway for always getting the music to sound epic for me on the night! Brianfm for supporting me and bringing my soundtrack to life!, Colin from Skyworks for the wicked drone footage, and lastly, but not least, my family for always being there for me.. even when they dont see me for weeks and weeks leading up to this display! hahhaaa ###

Good morning everyone!
Hope you all liked the show last night!
As always, I am too busy firing the show rather than getting pictures so I was wondering if anyone has any footage of the show please that they could share to me, or any photos that they would be happy for me to share?
I would really appriciate it!
By the way.. if one of your kids were singing 'Golden'.. please tell them it sounded so cool from the other side of the field that I cried with happiness! x

Hi there everyone.. Just a quick notice.
An authorised drone will be filming the display this Saturday at Lights over Marlborough.
This drone is operated by Skyworks UAS, a CAA Part 102 certificated operator who holds all relevant qualifications, approvals and insurances. The drone will not be operated above the crowd, and will be operated outside my exclusion zone, but within the roped off no go area. Please note, no other drones have permission to operate in A and P park during the fireworks display. Thank you, and can't wait to see you there!

Fireworks ban for the next 5 days in Nelson and Marlborough due to the extreme weather and winds. We do not want any fires caused by fireworks, so please adhere to this. Thank you my fellow pyro lovers!

MARLBOROUGH
⚠️A total ban on open fires and fireworks comes into force across the whole of Marlborough District at noon today because of the gales, high temperatures and low humidity that are forecast for the next few days. This means no new fires at all, for any reason, and no fireworks. ⚠️
• We are asking every landowner, agricultural contractor, forestry manager and lifestyle block owner to help us avoid any more fires starting, or reigniting from previous burns.
• Anyone who has had an outdoor fire since the beginning of September is asked to go and check today that it is completely out. If you see any sign of heat or smoke, please act immediately to fully wet down the site. If this is not possible, call 111 so that firefighters can assist.
Yesterday’s fires showed the devastating effects that wildfires have on communities, putting lives at risk and causing significant damage. We are asking everyone to do their bit to make sure this doesn't happen anywhere else.
