Small Talk with Alexander Westerlund, designer and co-founder of Interesting Times Gang, a sustainability-driven and award-winning Stockholm studio rethinking interior architecture and product design.

Best known for its Kelp Collection, the studio works with everything from orange rinds and airbags to oyster shells and seaweed, taking a fabric-first approach that lets the material guide the design.

We met at their studio in central Stockholm, where Alexander reflected on the essence of Swedish design, shared his favourite spots in the city, and revisited his most memorable Stockholm Design Week moment.

Small Talk is a series of short conversations with inspiring individuals. We chat about Swedish design, Stockholm’s best picks, and everything in between — stay tuned!
