Our Story

I am located in Herrin Illinois. I got my first “real” camera about 9 years ago. It was a point and shoot one, I used it for about 3-4 years, taking pictures of family and friends, then slowly branching out to strangers. I finally got my DSLR and really started to make it more than a hobby. I learned how to use a DSLR and photoshop by practicing and watching YouTube videos. I still try to keep up with the times. So that’s how it started. It was a slow evolution, and it took me a while to figure out what my style was/is, and where I wanted to go in photography. I enjoy photography because it has caused me to fall in love with light and see the world around me with fresh eyes every single day. And sometimes, when the mood is right, I just sit back and enjoy the moment without taking a photo. I found out I LOVE capturing images of couples and families! My focus is on couples, families, and maternity.
