Let each morning sunrise be a thanksgiving. For it is through heartfelt gratitude one is awaken to another gift called, LIFE. Let each eye opened up to a Brand New Day. For there is where New Life begins with another chapter. At the moment you start moving you will feel another strength called, HOPE. Because through it you are so much ALIVE. As long as you can crawl there is hope. As long as you can walk there is hope. And as long as you can run, ride a vehicle, jump or dive into the waters, surely there is much hope. Not until you learn how to fly, which also means learning how to let go of the things you are no longer obligated nor required to hold, then your HOPE may be understood as a Decisive move towards and beyond every Determination, every Persistence, every Patient Perseverance, every Contentment and every Solitude. These 5 characteristics of “being human” is called, Independence.

As Digital Creators, a new horizon awaits us everyday. It is a horizon which has no limits. You may think and say: “I can’t do what he/she can do,” or think and say: “I am not like that person who is best, better or good.” But what you are and what you can be, you have no idea, likewise you don’t know yet.

However, let me put it this way: “Be all you can be to reach your dreams. Be the kind of person where the love of what you do, guide you towards success. And in every step you make be an inspiration for others to follow your lead towards your/their goal.”

Are you ready for today, tomorrow and beyond ? Then strike while the iron is flaming. Let’s go creators and run like you never run before. Reach for the Stars, Unlimited💚

Patrick Nagel fans today we publicly reveal Duran Duran’s “Rio” May 1982 album cover image source from Vogue Paris, February 1981.

This was a multi page editorial for Angelo Tarlazzi.

Barry Hahn, Patrick Nagel’s technical art assistant, confirmed this indeed was the tear sheet used by Nagel. His reply : “Great Catch!” Indeed it is… Would you have put it together just flipping through magazines? I certainly would have missed it and it appears it has been missed for 42 years!

We suspect the model and maybe the band Duran Duran had no idea Nagel was influenced and used this image to create the cover of their musical masterpiece, “Rio”. He certainly changed many things, most specifically removing her glasses, but he obviously loved her smile. And that smile has been an iconic piece of Duran Duran history for decades.
