The vinyl for Sloom is finally here and looks amazing

Pressed on eco-mix vinyl, using waste material at the plant, which resulted in a huge range of marbled colours, here's a few. Each one is mega limited, head to Bandcamp to order and leave a note with the colour you want and I’ll dig one out for you, or pop down to your local record store and see what they’ve got in.

8 tracks of Leftfield electronic business, sitting somewhere between club energy and more introspective, textural stuff. The process began in ’22 when worldwide fm went on hiatus, I realised I didn’t have much of a musical identity outside of the radio, and had a bit of an identity crisis. For some reason it felt important to put something into the world that felt more personal, so I began cobbling together half finished tracks and working on new bits, spending lots of time with my modular synths and drum machines, and experimenting with creative misuse of sound-cleaning tools I was using at the radio.

Huge thanks to everyone who’s given me help and advice in the process of getting this out there, self-releasing a record has been a huge learning experience.

Biggest love of all to the amazing for her wonderful eye and the incredible artwork and design, making it such a beautiful record to hold in your hands.

Put last months .fm show up a little late, been a hectic month and spent most of the last 4 weeks in various fields, so forget to take care of my own radio show in the short amount of time I'm working on the rest of the radio.

Glass Ankle is out today!
First track from an upcoming album later this year,
Made this a couple of years ago when I messed my ankle up real bad and couldn't move for a few days, so sat on the sofa for a couple of days with my modular and my syntakt.
