This weekend we held our annual Autumn wreath making session and what a lovely time we had. Wood fire, mulled cider and other warm drinks, seasonal treats and lots of natural materials to make our wreaths with. This was my little wild demo piece which can now be found decorating the farm stand. An autumn wreath can be anything you want really but to my mind I like a bit of wildness and a mix of dried and fresh materials that can naturally dry over time and be repurposed.

Next up we have our Christmas wreath making workshops and we still have a few spaces left on about three dates so if you intend to come along please book soon to avoid missing out.

I’m always thrilled to see a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review!

“Ryan created my wedding bouquet and honestly, it was the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen. The selection of flowers was incredible. I’ve never seen such beautiful flowers. Ryan is so lovely too!”

This is Lisa’s beautiful bouquet from this morning’s wedding, the last wedding before I leave to go to France for a week and my parents take over the farm.

I have a few posies available to collect from the farm stand but once these go there won’t be any more flowers until I return. Eggs will continue to be stocked as normal.

Back in March I had the pleasure of creating Immy & Joe’s wedding flowers for their special day. I’ve been waiting to post these images for a while after seeing how gorgeous the previews were.

We agreed on a palette of pink and white with yellow accents and in keeping with the season we used spring blooms, namely Ranunculus, Anemones and Narcissi, and homegrown foliages combined with Roses and other blooms as shown in the images to complete the designs.

About: Bloom by Ryan Lewis

Welcome to Bloom by Ryan Lewis, a flower farm and artisan floristry company based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire on the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire. We supply the surrounding area for all floristry requirements whether it be a small bouquet for a friend or family member, weddings, sympathy flowers, events or wholesale services. We also offer services throughout the UK for weddings and events and run regular workshops throughout the year.

We use as many of our homegrown blooms as possible in all of our arrangements to reduce the need for imported flowers and foliage, although this will vary based on the season. All of our produce is grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides, meaning there will be nothing nasty in your designs, and we only use biodegradable and recycled products for decoration and packing.

Using the no-dig method of growing, all of the goodness that goes in to producing our blooms comes from homemade compost, manure from the farm and homemade comfrey and nettle teas. Pest control comes in the form of what nature provides - ladybirds, hoverflies and mini beats, although the chickens tend to see to the slugs and snails!
