SNAP is so important for our local food community!
🚨 We need your help to protect SNAP!
Right now, Congress is considering big cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which would make it even harder for families to put food on the table.
Our region and the Food Bank are already seeing record-high demand—just last October, 142,000 people turned to our network of food pantries and meal programs for help, the most ever in a single month.
113,000 households in Western Massachusetts rely on SNAP to afford groceries. The program also brings $35 million in federal dollars into our local economy every month, supporting farmers, grocers, and small businesses. Cutting SNAP doesn’t just increase hunger—it weakens our entire community.
No one can change this alone. We need you to call your legislators and tell them to oppose SNAP cuts that will hurt many people across Western MA. Every voice matters in our mission of ending food insecurity, so spread the word to family, friends, and colleagues too Take action today using the link below and share this post to raise awareness!
