My mum is an integral part of my bussiness. From 3am market runs to mid night bump outs. Early morning coffees and late night cups of tea or a cheeky vodka soda cranberry. Filling buckets. Building bouquet boxes. Unloading vans. Clean candle wax off of vases. Delivering bouquets and buttonhole. And chatting to me for hours on end while creating, distracting me just enough that I dont overthink a design. I wouldnt be where I am or do what I do without her.
Just under two years ago she was diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia. To say the past two years have been a whirl wind would be an understatement. Working in events is tough you can’t just pause and process.
This Sunday myself, my siblings and a few others are running 9.5km to raise awareness and funds for the 421,000 Australians including my beautiful mum who are living with dementia.
If you are in a position to do so it mean the world if you could sponsor us 🤍🤍🤍
All money raised will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services and research to help find a cure and support families like mine
