Orlando?! What's next?

I love living in a community that is always dreaming bigger and always thinking about what’s next!

The Canopy planned for Downtown Orlando is such an exciting example of that. A future urban gathering space designed with room for festivals and community events, lush green spaces, walkable and bike friendly paths, and immersive art woven throughout

It’s also being thoughtfully planned to connect people across the city and create a space that feels welcoming, accessible, and inspiring for everyone

Even in the early stages, it’s exciting to see ideas like this taking shape through community input

What comfort zone? There is no comfort zone!!

I am still buzzing from the 8th Annual Empowering Night of Laughter. What am amazing cast and a sold-out crowd who joined us on January 23, 2026 at The Abbey

This year’s show featured 9 Fearlessly Funny Women who stepped outside their comfort zones to perform five-minute comedic routines — proving that growth happens when we’re willing to try something new (even when it’s scary).

The 60-minute experience was guided by our three Empresses of Empowerment:
Vicki Landon
Anna Vishkaee Eskamani
CeCe Teneal

Growing up with a professional comedian for a dad (and doing stand-up myself), I can confirm that comedy is terrifying — in an awesome way. That’s exactly why ENL exists: to offer women a platform to test the boundaries of their comfort zones and discover what they’re capable of.

Since 2019, Empowering Night of Laughter has been curating empowerment one laugh at a time.

Ready to step out of your comfort zone?

Join us for the January 22, 2027 show.

Leadership transitions aren’t just about plans and timelines — they’re deeply human moments. I’ve had the privilege of working with leadership teams during their most vulnerable moments, helping organizations honor the leaders who shaped them while creating space to confidently welcome the . Check out my latest blog post for a behind-the-scenes look at how a thoughtful communication strategy can turn leadership transitions into moments of clarity and continuity.

My first real job was at Publix, working as a cashier, right on the front lines of the customer experience. That’s where I learned what “shopping is a pleasure” really means—not as a slogan, but as something you live out in a thousand small ways every day. It was about paying attention to the experience. How you greeted people. Keeping your register clean. Bagging with care. Not rushing people. Every night before anyone could leave, everyone pitched in—cleaning up, resetting the store, and leaving it ready for the next day. You didn’t leave until it was done right.

Publix taught me to respect the work, the people around me, and the customer experience as a whole. Those lessons stuck. They shaped how I approach my work and leadership—where details count, kindness matters, and doing things the right way is non-negotiable.
