CALLING ALL ETSY SELLERS!!!!

I am doing some research for a class that I am taking (Innovation & Prototyping) and need some Etsy Sellers or Want-To-Be Etsy Sellers, opinion on some things. THIS IS FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT! ANY OPINIONS SHARED WILL BE ANONYMOUS!
For those of you that have been selling on Etsy for several years now I am sure have noticed some extreme changes taking place in terms of sales and exposure. This is due to the recent changes that Etsy now allows manufactures to sell massed-produced item on their marketplace. It is no longer just HANDMADE GOODS!
On top of that…
They have raised their fees from $0.20 per listing fee + 3.5 % per transaction fee to $0.25 per listing fee +5% transaction fee + 5% shipping fee (regardless if you use their shipping processor or not- if you charge a buyer a fee they want a piece of it!) They are no longer about the sellers who have made them who they are today! They are all about their shareholders and their pockets.

So why should we all be doing all the work- while Etsy reaps all the rewards? I have seen message after message in forums all over Etsy and social media, with users asking “WHERE ELSE CAN WE GO?????”
Sure there are tons of new marketplaces popping up all the time, but most never really get off the ground. So, I am asking you- new and old sellers of Etsy (or any handmade marketplace)-
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN A NEW MARKETPLACE?
