As September comes to a close, we’re reminded of why our mission at Heroes N More matters so deeply. Many of the children we visit are battling cancer, and bringing them comfort, joy, and hope is at the very heart of what we do. 💛

This Christmas, we’ll be delivering toys and blankets to children in local hospitals—including those bravely fighting childhood cancer. To make this possible, we need your support:

🇺🇸 Honoring Heroes This Fourth of July 🇺🇸

This Independence Day, we at Heroes n MOre pause to reflect on the true meaning of freedom and the incredible men and women who have fought to protect it. Today, we honor our veterans, active-duty service members, and the wounded warriors, all who have served our country

Many of our own volunteers past and present are proud veterans who now don capes and armor instead of uniforms, stepping into the roles of superheroes and princesses to fulfill the end-of-life wishes of children facing unimaginable battles. Their strength, compassion, and unwavering spirit embody what it truly means to heed the call of a hero.

This Fourth of July, we salute every hero who has made it their mission to protect, uplift, and inspire. 🇺🇸❤️💫

Heroes N More was established in 2013 by Dave and Dawn Russell, who, at the time were struggling with their own son. Gabriel is the founding couples' child, and the reason why Heroes N More exists today. Gabe has been diagnosed with a myriad of different disorders that have affected his quality of life. Dave and Dawn saw how there was little support for their child, and other children and their families, and felt that even if they could not do much - they needed to do something. They knew what the long sleepless nights in ICU felt like, They knew what heartbreaking news was like to receive - because they lived it. They made the decision to use cosplay to be purposeful in reaching these families and children. Their goal was to bring smiles, even if just for a moment. So that these mighty warriors knew their pain and struggle was not unnoticed. Heroes N More seeks to reach special needs children, terminally ill children, and others who are fighting seemingly insurmountable challenges. Our non profit has grown through the years, thanks to personal donations, and through building relationships in the community. We run solely on donation, and our reach is only as vast as our donations allow. Our goal is to reach more children each year, through social media posts, special events, and community connections in the San Antonio and local area. Pictured below is Gabriel. He is our "WHY". He, and every child like him, who have struggled as he has - is why we heed the call of a hero to bring smiles to those in need. Hello followers!
We just wanted to let everyone know that we were very sorry We had to take some time off, one of our corps members child has been very sick and was placed on hospice. So we hav3 been taking time to walk this path with her.💜

But we are letting you guys know that we are back And we have added a lot of mascots and we are going to be making a huge announcement very soon😁😁😁

We are in the middle of rebranding to start Fresh. So you may see some images change and name change, but we are still the same Amazing heroes and mascots showing up for our community, bringing joy To parties and making every experience that we set up unique and amazing!!
