When asked what part makes me most nervous, I have to admit it’s sending the bride down the aisle. The moment the dress is fluffed, doors are open and the step is taken, I feel like I’m able to breathe again. The beauty of that moment is literally breathtaking✨

We are officially back from Colombia and all I (Karen here) can say is my goodness! FULL TRANSPERANCY... Fall 2024 burnt me out. Honestly, I don’t think I realized until I was in a different country that forced me to slow down. I had some of our most complex weddings and events last fall all while navigating the new journey of parenthood and rediscovering who I am as a business owner, wife and mother. As a wedding planner, I feel like there is this pressure to put up a facade that we are perfect because we are the creators of perfect/smooth days... However, while trying to achieve that I sucked the life out of myself (and let’s be honest, I am not the creator of perfection).

Being in my homeland, I was inspired and refilled in so many ways. The way I saw how the people of my culture work, I felt myself walking with my chin held high. The beauty of the land gave my eyes a new sparkle. The food and the way that it was shared with others not only nourished my body but also my soul.

As we prepare to enter our 2025 spring season, my goal is to be far more intentional with our clients which means placing some limits on how many clients we take on. I want our clients, our family and friends to have the best of me which means not stretching myself too thin.

So here is to 2025 - I have a good feeling about you✨

Let’s talk color palettes! As much as we love Pinterest, we love drawing inspiration from all sorts of areas. Fashion, interior design, travel, you name it and we can probably pull a color palette from it. Collaborating with our floral friends, sharing a color palette with them and letting them run is definitely one of our favorite things! We do not limit them to certain flowers (unless its absolutely crucial to the design) because we know that there are only so many flowers that we know. Their knowledge of the floral world is so extensive. Again, trust is the name of the game!
