Saturday night was at House of the South which has a Trance room called House of Trance.
I prepared for a classic set for the retro type crowd I was expecting. Alex D Douglas was playing before me and played a range of different styles. Harder tracks wiped the floor with fluffy Trance and I thought that playing classics would be dumbing down to that crowd.
The djs around me are in some cases 30 years into their journeys and Ronnie Garrett is totally adaptable, so this gave me free reign to play what I needed.
What a great night in what was an experienced crowd with experienced djs, upstairs the house room with Brian Holt .. epic.
