13 years ago I took a chance on starting up a DJ business that I could’ve never fathomed would’ve turned into the company that it is today. RSD is more than just myself and the faces DJing your weddings & events…it’s a vast network of meaningful connections I’m proud to have cultivated over the years.

I wouldn’t even know where to start if I had to thank everyone that assisted me along this journey. Friends & family who refer me, vendors who help in a pinch, venue owners, fellow DJ companies, mentors, manufacturing reps, my day 1’s, and even past clients who continue to sing my praises without me knowing. THESE are the people that allow me to make YOUR event not just possible, but as spectacular as I possibly can. You all know who you are. The sincerest thanks & appreciation from the bottom of my heart 🤍

Big thanks to my guy Affan representing the company at Wedding Expo this past Saturday. As much as it kills me that I couldn't be in two places as once talking to prospective couples myself... I'm glad (and proud) that other venues and clients know that RSD is more than just a solo-op. That we're a multi-facited team of uniquely talented DJs and personalities....all collaborating non-stop with one goal in mind.... to ensure YOUR wedding night will have guest talking about it in years to come.

Ron & Kellys winter wedding was nothing short of incredible...from the super sweet venue, City View Loft, to the even sweeter view of the skyline at night! One of the many perks of this job is that I know many of my couples prior to DJing their wedding, so it gives me that obligation to really create the perfect night for them...not just as hired help, but as a friend.
Help me in wishing these two amazing humans a lifetime of love & happiness!

As every following year seems to get more & more packed with weddings, I find myself having less & less time to create content and update the socials. And Im ok with that.
..Because I know I've always prioritized my focus around the actual couple, whether that be in-depth planning, answering questions, or just simply being available 24/7....rather than promo. On our final planning call meeting, I asked the couple if there was a videographer I would be working alongside with. They said no, they wished they budgeted for one, but a friend who will be a guest will film everything. Granted that was an extremely kind gesture, I know its a juggle to capture everything and still truly enjoy your time, so I offered to have someone on my team do our best to fully capture the day. Now I know I can never replicate a trained videographers quality, but I'm dang proud of how this one came out, and most importantly, they were too. I have a newfound respect for videographers editing multiple videos a week 😵‍💫I clipped out the ceremony & toasts because it was a 25 minute video! So here's the 7min. shortened version, enjoy!!!
