The Gabula Royal Foundation in partnership with Hongera Saana Uganda are pleased to inform you that there will be a one day eyes medical camp on Monday 11 2025 at the Busoga Kingdom Headquarters Compound.

BIG NEWS! UGANDA CRANES BEAT GUINEA!

Uganda's performance in the 2024 CHAN (African Nations Championship), which is being co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, has been a mix of results so far.

After two matches in Group C, Uganda's record is:

Match 1: A 3-0 loss to Algeria.

Match 2: A strong 3-0 victory over Guinea.

This win against Guinea was crucial, as it brought Uganda back into contention for the knockout stages. Following these two matches, the Group C standings are as follows:

Algeria: 4 points

Uganda: 3 points

Guinea: 3 points

South Africa: 1 point

Niger: 0 points

Uganda's next match will be on August 11 against Niger. This tournament is particularly significant for Uganda as it is their first time hosting the competition, and the East African country is using it as a dress rehearsal for co-hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
