Good morning all you EV Rally Fans and entrants!!

Last night we had a mini EV Rally Meet at the amazing Ace Cafe London Ltd — who we’d like to thank for welcoming us, and trialling EV Owners Nights again in partnership with the EV Groups Nexus and the brand new local + regional (Greater) London EVs Club!

I’d like to share with you some photos plus a little insight I personally (Rob) gained from the 17 attendees (on a work / school night that is amazing), and the awesome conversations we had.

Community to us here at the EV Rally Club is everything — I think Tom Druitt, John Bickerton and Bill Murray can also attest to this.

Plus — wow do we have some incredibly smart, passionate and also kind individuals in our EV communities around the UK. Thank you to ALL who attended but especially Shaun & Annette, and Nickie & AnnMarie who travelled from Yorkshire + Bolton Lancashire to attend!

Another big I thank you is owed, and I felt terrible that Joseph from Jack's Garage The VW Specialists. spent over 4 hours in grid locked traffic to make the event, because he promised he would and any of us who know Joseph, know he is not only an amazing human — but also truly a man of his word! Thank you so much Joseph for attending, and keeping your Rally Sticker on show with pride!

Food was eaten, drinks were consumed, new people were welcomed and amazing stories were shared.

We even had a lovely informative presentation from Nick Hulin at char gy, with… Props! I do love Props 😀, thank you Nick for giving up your evening to spend 3.5 hours with us as a community!
