Rental Kimono&sell Yukata, second hand, authentic Kimono. A small family run over 60years shop The shop for selling Kimono is also my home in Harajyuku.

Our shop has around 50 years history and over 3,000 costumers who are Japanese and non-Japanese. For those who you would like to buy Kimonos,

All these items are at our main shop out side of TOKYO. So please e-mail blue text info, if you are interested in buying Kimono. Our main shop will sent your items to Harajyuku therefor we ask at least 2 days before notice. When your info is not clear (

like " budget : not expensive") , we may not answer it. These info we need "what you like to have and what for it (For wearing, let me know your measurements: height&hip with cm) with budget "

After this info, I will sent our map ( location is different from Kimono rental place). Since a famous Japanese politician live same mansion as our home, security is very high . If I can not see your email with socialized behavior, we may reject your coming.

Papa Thank you so much for becoming my papa in law. I lost my real father when I was small. You gave a chance to call someone "papa" once again. I wish I could call you "Papa" once again in parson. I did not know how you became weak. I was too optimist, or I trust you become OK again, since you are very young mentality. I always remember you put me on your BMW motorbike. This is my first and last motorbike in my life. We will visit Germy anyway soon and support your loved wife. Please rest in peace.
Sakaeya Kimono Shop will close from 29th July to 23rd August but our staff may help shopping guests upon requests. No package plan possible.

We have also tall size Yukata for women and men. If you are over 170cm woman, go for tall sizes. For men,we have Yukata for around 2m! I am now coming to Germany from next week so if you order our online shop by 26th, we can bring them to Germany and send them from there. You can reduce delivery fee if you live in Europe!

Very lucky lady. She got a yukata from Kyoto which just arrived. This yukata makers make bit wider yukata than what we have. Our online shop now have many plus size pre made yukata. Hope which help my international guests!

Beautiful! She got this second hand kimono for Japanese dance. We arranged other items so she can dress it in her country properly! Orange silk kimono and green accessories are good color coordination. This kimono set will be good souvenir for herself.

Mama and son enjoyed yukata shopping and talking with me about cats! Papa san did not come together. I believe it is nice to dress in yukata together with all family. Papa san may think it is silly for him to be in different culture costume but it is not so long that children are willing to dress same cloth together with family. 2025 half year past but my mission is encourage to all families members to dress kimono and yukata inc papa san! Since I got one repeater message. They came to our shop with grand parents and dressed in kimono several years ago but the grand mother passed away. The kimono family photo is wonderful memory for them. Human being live in memory and photos are evidence of the memory. Why not dressing yukata or kimonos together?

Soon many fairworks are helding in Tokyo. Get Yukata set and ready for it! We have a lots of sizes for men and women as well as kids. Also we can do any size of tailer made Yukata. Nice to see Japanese fairworks in Yukata!

Happy American couple in Yukata. Have a educational time with us. Leaning how to do at the Shinto shrine. We showed this couple how to do at the shrine and get widow-bell as offer to the god. I do believe they will get good time in Japan! Our shop shows real Japanese culture! Not just only decoration!

Wind chime is offering for God at this shrine. Thanks to her, she brought us her nice friends! Her Yukata is 2025 collection. We have light bule as well! Pretty on her! Had wonderful moments with them!

Yukata plan can add this American flag obi! She is first guest added this obi! Looks so outstanding! She will dress in Kyoto. I am sure will get many compliments! As well as she can show nationality without word. What you wear sometimes tell more than what we tell. And this Yukata is I found in Kyoto, very well made and good designed.

One photo made my day! She went to one Tanabata festival in France in our Yukata! Tanabata is star festival on 7th July,on the legendary meeting of two stars, Hikoboshi or Altair and Orihime or Vega. In Japan, write our wishes on strips of paper and hang them from bamboo branches, which is said to make our wishes come true. How nice she enjoyed it in the Yukata. Her Yukata is real dye out Chusenzome one, traditional colors indigo and white. Obi is Kenjyo-gara from Fukuoka. Very elegant and classy! The obi knot is perfect, even I thought someone helped her but she made it by herself! You know all Japanese traditional culture need practice (making such knot, dressing Kimono or Yukata) but you can make it after practice! Our shop offers always best Koshi-himo, not polyester but mousseline so not sleepy and gentle to tie. You can dress Yukata more easily. Just practice bit and go to some festival in Yukata so you will enjoy more your life!

Welcome from Croatia! I was so excited since I have been there 20 years ago. My Croatian friend invested me at her home in Zagreb after studying in Norway together. I can’t forget how much I had great time there. Now I showed our culture to this Croatian gentleman. He once rented yukata and love it so get one as his souvenir. Hope he enjoys Yukata in his country!

If you like to have only nice photos in Kimono, our shop may be not best for you. But if you like culture, our salon would love to have you. Tea ceremony is always come with our kimono rental. Also shopping, we have deep knowledge of how to wear Kimono properly and which occasion and sash is much however if you can not be socialized behavior, our salon can not open to the parson. For example, try so many things and make salon messy or dose not share real Information of your demand( size, budged) . Our salon’s goal is not making money but help people who like to know real Japanese cultuer and both of us appreciate each other.

Culture needs humanistic life so we don’t work like economic animal so please always book us in advanced if you would like to come to us. Let’s have cultural moment together
