A local baker with a unique option for your wedding cake. Both are rustic chic and the mocha cake sounds like my idea of heaven! 💗

I made our wedding cake. It was a 9 tier Chocolate Chip Cookie cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I am not a huge regular cake fan and loved the idea of endless slices of cookies for everyone. It was a crowd favorite and people were lined up waiting so we cut it fairly early on. This cake was 3 of ea 12” ,9”,6” and served 100 ppl with a small bit left over for us!
I also made the cake behind it . Matthew ‘s grooms cake is a mocha cake soaked in espresso and caramel with a caramel buttercream and espresso bean crunch. We only got 2 pcs to take to the hotel with us! Both of these will be available to order for functions and weddings.

I had the absolute joy of touring this little gem of a wedding chapel in Hobgood NC today. It’s the perfect little space for a small intimate wedding. There is even a restored train depot next door that can be rented for the reception.
Facility rental is handled by the town of Hobgood, the rental rates are in the comments below. ⛪️

I had the honor to tour Carolina Legacy Farmhouse today with one of my October brides. Beautiful venue with lots of extra little perks to make your special day all you want it to be. Tom is a great owner and host and it’s obvious he cares about the couples renting his venue and doesn’t take the responsibility lightly. I can’t wait for October!

I am not a Swiftie but this option for your Bridal entrance is perfect and I love how “The Wedding Duo” recommends starting with the instrumental versions of processional songs for the wedding party and features the exact spot on the track for the Bride to enter. 💗
