Dear Guests,

When you’re invited to a special event, especially a wedding, please remember: IT’S NOT JUST A SIMPLE INVITATION. You were CHOSEN. Out of so many people the couple could have invited, they reserved a seat just for you.

Each seat has value, not just financially, but emotionally. It’s paid for, prepared, and set with you in mind. So if you know you won’t be able to attend, please say NO right away on the RSVP. Don’t wait until the last minute, and please don’t cancel just because you suddenly don’t feel like going.

Late cancellations are more than just a hassle, THEY HURT. That seat could’ve gone to someone else who truly wanted to be there but wasn’t invited because the space and budget were limited.

RSVP is not just a formality, it’s a sign of respect.
So if you say YES, commit. If you need to say NO, do it early.

Let’s be honest. Let’s be thoughtful. That’s the least we can do for someone who thought of us on one of the most important days of their life.

But in all the noise, I hope you remember this:
You are allowed to choose your own voice.

This day, your wedding, is not a performance. It’s not for social media, not for tradition’s sake, not to prove anything.

It is a reflection of your love, your values, your joy.
And that means: you get to say NO to what doesn’t feel right.
You get to say YES to the things that light you up inside.

If something makes your chest feel heavy, pause.

You don’t need to explain, justify, or bend. Your intuition is sacred. Let it guide you.

A wedding is one of the most beautiful milestones in life, but let’s be honest, it can also be one of the most emotionally loaded.

Everyone has something to say.
“Pumili kayo ng ganitong simbahan.”
“Mas maganda kung ganito ang gown.”
“Dapat ganito ang entourage, ganyan ang programa.”
And too often… those voices come from the people closest to us, our own family.

But here’s the truth: Your wedding is NOT a FAMILY EVENT. It is a COUPLE’s COMMITMENT.
