It’s extremely short notice but Spadina House has announced that it *is* doing some kind of 1920’s summer picnic on Sunday, July 21st. I doubt we’ll be able to make it as our schedule is now very booked but you can search for it if that interests you.

Throwback photo from the event pre-pandemic.

Thank you Alex Rodionov for these photos from the Old Hollywood Party!

Starting as a set assistant, his keen eye for talent and relentless ambition saw him climb the ranks rapidly. By the mid-1930s, he had established Triumph Motion Pictures, which quickly became known for its daring ventures and blockbuster hits. Charlie is a shrewd businessman with a golden touch, having discovered some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

Personality: Charismatic yet intimidating, Charlie is a man of vision and expects nothing but the best from those around him. He's known for his lavish parties, sharp suits, and a no-nonsense attitude in the boardroom.
