I love a good “just because” session. Andy came to me telling me he wanted some headshots, but also just a whole photoshoot because…why not!? I love doing shoots like these because it’s so special to capture yourself for the pure reason of “I wanted to” lol! We deserve to have these lasting moments of ourselves to look back on while also celebrating us in the moment!!

Hey everyone!! I think it’s time to give an updated introduction to the face behind the camera, and what better way to do it than making it my first post of the year!?

Hi, I’m Mackenzie, but you can call me Kenzie too! I’ve been a photographer for around 7 years (longer if you count my days as a kid playing with my Dad’s camera lol!). I started doing video in High School as well, and really adopted it as one of my crafts in 2019. I am the happiest when a camera is in my hands (and second happiest when I am editing videos!) 💕 I love photo and video so much that in May of 2024 I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Film and in Art History!

One of my greatest joys of being a photographer and videographer is getting to capture moments for people to cherish. Not to be sappy but, to me, every moment is worth capturing. No day is too small to capture, as every moment in our life is valuable and worth being documented- from big milestone days like graduations, engagements, and weddings to days just as big because you liked your smile, wanted to document your new hair, or just felt like having your photos taken! I find so much joy in being able to capture these moments and showing others see the beauty that we see in them!

Thank you to those who have supported my work and trusted me to capture their moments! And thank you to those who are checking out my page and taking the time to read this too!
