Hectic Wednesdays Homestyle food, home delivered. The cooks at Hectic Wednesdays believe that good food should nourish the body and nurture the soul.

Our passion is wholesome and delicious family meals prepared and delivered fresh to your home. Each Sunday evening, we post our menu for the week on our page, orders are taken until 9pm on Tuesday, we deliver fresh, chilled meals on Friday.

# Chicken korma with chickpeas and almonds: this dish represents our own home kitchens and the people we love best in the world. It is exactly how we prepare it at home. Served with kachumber salad and rice.

To our dear friends, the time has come for Hectic Wednesdays to bid you all adieu.
We feel deeply blessed to have been cooking your Friday night dinners for the last few years and we are grateful for your support, cheering on a couple of local girls in their first small business endeavour. But the time has come for us to tend to our health, to our families, and to our respective professional callings. It is also time to dwell on 'next things', and we hope you will be there once we find that path.
But for now and as a goodbye, we have two more weeks of menus of your very favourite dishes. Bon appetit!

We'd love to help you get sorted with some of our favourite kids meals and lunchbox/after school snacks delivered already frozen to put into your freezer. Please make sure you have enough freezer space if you will be ordering our Back to School Boxes this week.

Let Hectic Wednesdays prepare delicious family-style food for you, made with real ingredients, with no chemicals or preservatives, no colours or artificial sweeteners. And, to make your Fridays a little bit easier, we will bring our food to your home or workplace on Friday afternoon chilled and ready to eat.

# Zucchini and Bacon Frittata: great for freezing and filling lunchboxes, always a hit with kids!

# Irish Lamb Shanks with Colcannon Mash: a perfect dish to introduce on the Winter solstice! Tender lamb simmered slowly in a rich brew of stout and tomatoes, served with buttery cabbage and potato mash to really make this meal sing :) So excited to serve this hearty, traditional dish.
$21 per single serve (order as many serves as you like)

# Chicken Korma: coconut-creamy and lovely, mildly spiced, with almonds and chickpeas, served with fluffy basmati rice.

And we're done. A very big week for HW!
We have sent out some little tasters of our Pulled Pork and Mexican Slaw, hope you like it.
For the pudding, remove lid, cover with foil and warm in an oven on 100deg. C. When it is nice and warm, pop the cool sauce on top and watch it melt and ooze like a caramel lava all over your warm pudding :) eat with ice-cream. Don't reheat the sauce if you don't have to, it gets very, very hot!!!!

To reheat our mains this week you can follow similar directions, or just use your microwave (...and maybe omit the caramel sauce bit...)
