It’s hard to believe Chris and Brianna’s wedding was our last wedding before everything shutdown due to Covid. It feels like yesterday but also a lifetime ago. No one knew what the next year would bring, but we were so grateful to see them get married and be a part of their celebration!

Sharing happy news this Tuesday! Theresa Nicole Events turns T W O today!! 🎉

We have to admit, though, we've struggled with celebrating this years anniversary. The current state of our world and society and the difficulties our clients have been facing in light of this pandemic makes celebrating feel so... small in the grand scheme.
⠀
Year 2, you really have been something. As creative business owners and working in an industry where our livelihood literally depends on the coming together of people in celebration, this has been the most painful, frustrating, and intimidating year in business we will ever know.
⠀
11/3/2018 was our first wedding as Theresa Nicole Events. We are so grateful for our first few couples that took a chance on us and our new company. To our clients past, present, and future: we are honored you have chosen us to help you with your weddings and special events. ♥️
⠀
None of the research, webinars, or mentoring in the early days of our careers ever fully prepared us for navigating small business ownership during a pandemic. We are so grateful to have the most incredible clients who were exceedingly gracious and flexible this year while we all rolled with the punches.
⠀
Looking back on when we brought this baby business into the world, it's actually quite astonishing to consider how far we've come, in both our business savvy and our skills. We know that without a doubt, we will look back and recall 2020 a year of growth and we are looking forward to the many years ahead.

So today, we simply want to say thank you. Thanks to all of the vendors and clients who have supported us over the years and have allowed us to grow. We would not be here without you! 🥂

Event Planners are hard wired to be flexible.

We've always known how to adapt to create different events and we're always adjusting to deal with potential problems.
⠀
It's that creative thinking & flexibility that will get us through the challenges we all now face.
⠀
The uncertainty is definitely the biggest sting, but already it does feel as though we’re all rising above, finding the silver lining, and pulling through, TOGETHER.
⠀
We just want to say thank you to our friends, friendors, new and old clients who have reached out to check in on us. Thank you to the people who have asked what they can do to help. Thank you to those who have stepped up as leaders. Thank you to the amazing brides who continue to put their trust in us; and thank you to those of you who simply continue to believe that we will persevere - you’re getting us through. 🙌🏻

For all those of you who are spending your down time browsing wedding dress magazines and websites looking for inspiration, don't forget to pay just as much attention to the design of the back of your dress as you do to the front.

Remember that your guests will be admiring the back of you as you glide up the aisle past them and will continue to do so as you take your positions up at the front to say your vows.
⠀
We just love this gown and veil from Mikaella Bridal - the gown had beautiful delicate, straps which really emphasized Skye's elegant shoulders.
