Any one who knows me knows i love any think about Greek gods, and whilst the disneys hercules is not true too the myths it will all ways hold a special place in my hart being one of my first disney movies i watched. If always been fascinated my ancient Greeks with there clothing and all there mythology, even all my pet get named after different characters from Greek myths. I especially love how they take very simple shape of cloth and drape and pin them till it becomes an elegant garment. This is one of my favourite items in the shop, link in bio.

I feel very madam de pompadour in this dress 🙃 the dress is made with shantung satin in a butterscotch colour and it’s so gorgeous, though not the best to work in as it very slippery, my ideally would have been to use a crisp taffeta but could not find the right shade I wanted.

This has been a long time coming but here’s some pics of my 18th century bell dress, I’m so obsessed. I have wanted to do a historical inspired Disney dress for ages as bell was such a fun on to start with. So glad I own a ruffled foot to do the ruffling as there is about 30 m of ruffle decoration on the dress. Stay tuned for more pics just need to pick out my absolute favourite.

Little rushed photo shoot last night. I made theses pieces months ago put this is the first proper photos I’ve taken of them. I fell in love with the blue fluer de leis fabric and brought several meters to make my medieval surcoat, which I edged in a really soft long pile faux fur trim.

It was wonderful to get out of home for a bit with the family a few weeks back to do this photoshoot down in seaton. It's the first full costume that i've made for my self in about 4 years.

This has been a year of embroidery with some free time during the lockdown. some snippets of the pieces i've been working one. First one on two 18th century underskirt pockets with a modern embroidery design. the second pic part of an embroidered 18th century skirt so far its taken about 100hr of work.

Well its been a busy half a year as have had a few changes on where i wanted to be as well as health which led me to drop out from uni, which has actually worked out really well for me as i have now finished the building the first room in my studio and have my etsy now fully back up and running. Heres a pic from today take photos of a few items which will be going up for sale on etsy this week.
